When you subscribe to Culture Slop via our website, we collect your email address. We use Resend to send emails and Neon (Postgres) to store subscriber data. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Culture Slop uses the Threads API (by Meta) to display public conversations on our article pages. We access only public post content, reply threads, and engagement metrics. We store a Threads access token solely to authenticate API requests on behalf of our own account (@thecultureslop). We do not access, store, or process any other user's Threads data.
We use lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how readers engage with our content. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
We use only essential cookies required for site functionality. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
